One of my most favorite peices in FANTASTIC CONDITION.
I think I actually hugged it when I found it!
This is a pink based faille with flecks of grey and a very small pink diamond pattern. Unique deco accents on the coat and the right cuff in navy blue rayon with matching navy blue rayon piping along the collar. The kickpleat is placed on the same side as the sleeve detail for a stunning feature the length of the suit. Peplum coat with the famous "big" padded shoulders, soft rounded edges, fabric covered buttons and navy blue crepe piping along the collar.
The coat is fully lined in pink crepe. I can't even find a tear in the lining, not even under the arms! The skirt is unlined.
The detail put into this garment is what vintage clothing lovers dreams are made of.
~Flaws~
VERY,VERY FEW FLAWS
There is some slight discoloration (photo 16) in the inside of the jacket underarms. One spot (photo 11) on the collar, and a dingy spot (photo 15) on the skirt. Button on the right cuff button has (photo 10) signs of rust. There are some VERY faint scattered dingy-discolorations from storage, they can't even be seen in a photo. I know a good cleaning will reduce/eliminate the discolorations.

This suit is the epitome of the 40's Pin Up for sure!
